OperationId:createTranslation

Creates one translation, or several when the body has a translations array. Requires Super User scope.

A key created in any namespace other than common is also created in common, with the same locale, value, and description, unless common already has that key. The response reports this in common_entry_created. An id is generated when you omit it.

A new translation is marked as customized (source is api), so a filesystem sync never overwrites it. Send source=filesystem to let the next sync replace it.

The change is accepted and applied shortly after this response, so a read made immediately after can still show the old value.

A single create of a locale, namespace, and key that already exists returns 409; change it with PUT /translations. Send a translations array to act on several translations in one request. A bulk request always returns 200: each item that failed is listed in errors with its position in the array and the reason, and summary counts the results.
