OperationId:CreateSMSNumber

Adds an SMS number to the domain in the path and assigns it to a user, a call queue, or the domain's pool of available numbers.

Requires Office Manager, Call Center Supervisor, Route Manager, Reseller, or Super User scope.

Set application to user or callqueue and dest to the extension or call queue that receives messages, or set application to available to hold the number unassigned. available always clears dest. carrier, when sent, must name an SMS carrier configured on the platform, listed by GET /smscarriers. When the number goes to a user, that user's messaging profile gains it.

A number belongs to one domain. A number already held by another domain returns 409: delete it from that domain first.

A 202 means the number is accepted and applied shortly after. Read it back with GET /domains/{domain}/smsnumbers/{smsnumber}.
